Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) in conjunction with the Rural City of Wangaratta and Sport & Recreation Victoria are very proud to present the second edition of the Victorian Country Pools Conference. This major regional event will be held at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre, between Wednesday 3 May 2017 and Thursday, 4 May 2017.
Victoria has more than 279 publicly owned pools and hundreds more pools used by the public, such as swim schools, schools, universities, hotels, motels, holiday parks and theme parks. While pools and the industry enjoy a profoundly successful connection with the Victorian community, our industry faces many challenges.
The aim of the conference is to create a forum that takes into account
- The current key regional and industry issues
- Identify solutions and ways to do things better
- Acknowledges the wins
- Learn what’s going on in the bush
- Allow stakeholders the opportunity to meet and form relationships, whilst networking with their peers.
