STREAM ’12 Regional Victorian Austswim Teacher Personal Development Day

Sunday 7th October, 2012 at Warragul Regional College and Warragul Leisure Centre

Dry Sessions Include:

• Creating a More Inclusive Aquatic Program – Leanne White (Aquatics Director)
• Aquatic Programming for Newly Arrived Australians – Jessica O’Halloran (Aquatics Director)
• Community and Communication – Gail Dimitriadis (Aquatic Director)
• Something’s Not Quite Right:Suggestions for the Management of Little Ones With and Without Diagnoses – Emily White (Active and Able)
• Transition From ‘Parent In’ to ‘Parent Out’ of the Water Lessons – Tim Kemp (AUSTSWIM Presenter/Swim School Manager)
• Teaching a Successful Class Every Time – Trudy Micallef (Aquatic Director) and Sam Winter (Aquatic Director)

Wet Sessions Include:

• Butterfly Made Easy – Halle Ladd (AUSTSWIM Presenter)
• Swimming Better, Swimming Faster: Breaststroke – Andrew Marks (Secondary School Teacher/School Sport Victoria Swimming)
• From Open Water to the Pool – Laura Parkins (Aquatic Education Services Coordinator)

STREAM Registration PACKAGE:

The full registration package includes attendance to the five Professional Development sessions on Sunday, enabling you to attend one session

from each time slot.  In addition you will receive:

• Printed session notes (for sessions attending)
• ARV STREAM ’12 Pack
• Lunch and refreshments throughout the day
• Certificate of attendance
• 10 professional development hours for AUSTSWIM
• Licence™ renewal
