ALFA offers a range of membership packages for commercial suppliers, organisations and individuals. Specifically those categories are:
Commercial Supplier Members
Any commercial or not-for-profit business that supplies goods and services to aquatics, recreation and leisure facilities can join ALFA as a commercial supplier member. ALFA provides commercial suppliers access and insight into the aquatics, recreation and leisure industry. There are two Commercial Supplier membership categories to choose from: 
- National member for companies wishing to gain national access to the industry.
- State member for companies wishing to gain access to the industry in an individual state.
All National Commercial Suppliers can join online right now via our fast and easy to use online application form.

Organisation Members
Any organisation that has a vested interest in the on-going development of the aquatics, recreation and leisure facility industry can join ALFA as an Organisation Member. The Organisation Membership category has been developed to support these organisations in the way they plan, develop and manage leisure facilities. This membership category includes:
- Facilities aquatic, recreation and leisure centres, hotels and other facilities that provide services to the industry;
- Management Organisations businesses that manage leisure facilities and/or provide services to the industry;
- Government all levels of government (federal, state and local councils)
- Education Institutions schools, universities and other educational institutions; and
- Peak Bodies not-for profit peak industry bodies

Individual Members
Any person working in, or connected to aquatics, recreation and leisure facilities can join ALFA as an individual member. This includes facility managers, coordinators, teachers of swimming and water safety, coaches, aqua exercise and group fitness instructors, customer service staff and pool lifeguards. ALFA provides individual members with the latest information, news and trends, professional development, training and networking opportunities as well as many personal benefits and discounts. There are three individual membership categories to choose from:
