- Ken Phillips – GP referral Scheme:
Health Referral is a method of developing a partnership between leisure and health professionals in order to provide interventions for patients who will benefit from individual physical activity programs and who currently do not take part in sufficient regular exercise to provide health gain. Ken will provide an overview of some recent programs and how they have been a benefit to the facilities involved.
- Changes to Pool Inflatables Legislation:
Recent changes to the legislation over Pool Inflatables has a huge impact on commercial facilities. This is a great opportunity to fully understand the implications of these changes and how this will affect your facility.
- Michael Illinsky (Royal Life Saving) – Environmental Health Officer Update:
The ARI have been working with Royal Life Saving and the NSW ministry of Health to improve the regulating of Environmental Health Officer’s Qualifications in order to conduct site inspections at Aquatic & Recreation Facilities. This session will provide you with the up to date information of this process and what changes we expect to see in the coming months.
