The Australian Leisure Facilities Association Queensland (ALFAQ) Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 12th September 2012 at Milton PCYC, Castlemaine St Milton.
Nature of Proposed Business
The ordinary business of the AGM will be to:
- General Business
- Elect members of the ALFAQ Board
- Industry Planning Workshop
Entitlement to Attend Meeting:
The only persons entitled to be present at the AGM of ALFAQ will be the financial Members (or a representative of the Member where the Member is not a natural person) and Directors, except with the prior consent of the Board in its discretion.
Entitlement to Vote:
Only Financial Members are eligible to vote at General Meetings. If you are unsure of your position, please call Stephen Butler 0418 876 554 to confirm.
As a voting member you have the opportunity to raise items for discussion under General Business at an AGM provided Formal Notice is given. If you have any notices of motion that you would like put, you will need to fax, email or post them to ALFAQ office so that they are received by 5pm Friday 10th August 2012.
Nomination for Elected Members – 4 Positions
Nominations of candidates for election as an elected Member must be made in writing using the Nomination Form. All proposed nominations must be seconded and accepted by the person being nominated. Should you wish to nominate more than one person for these vacant positions, please feel free to copy the Nomination Form, A maximum of 4 nominations only will be accepted. Nominations must be received by 5pm Friday 10th August 2012 to be eligible.
